      Ya. The point is not to invade. It’s to create total chaos and then in the midst of the chaos, get the right puppet in there to hand over all the oil. Minimal effort for maximum return.

      It’s not that complicated. Geopolitics is unpredictable. So is war. The planned operation is the weaken the regime, destroy offensive capabilities. 

      Then… there are expected opportunities and plans to exploit those opportunities. But… there’s no commitment. The opportunity may not be there… or they might not want to pursue it.
