Ich besuche Malta derzeit mit dem Auto. Aufenthalt in Sliema. Der nächstgelegene Ort, den ich fand, war in der George Borg Oliver St, in einer weiß markierten Bucht. Als ich wegging, fiel mir das auf der anderen Straßenseite auf. Insgesamt habe ich auf der Straße 3 gesehen.
Es scheint ziemlich klar zu sein, aber die Linie durch es und die anderen beiden ließ mich fragen: Ist das ein altes Schild, das nicht mehr gültig ist usw.? Zum Zeitpunkt des Schreibens ist es Sonntag, aber ich werde versuchen, das Auto morgen früh zu bewegen.
Spielt es eine Rolle, dass es sich auf der anderen Straßenseite befindet, und hat die durchgehende Linie eine Bedeutung?

The line doesn’t mean anything. That’s because it was crossed out with some tape for some time due to a disagreement between the local council and the central government and in the meantime what was exposed to the elements faded due to exposure to the sun, and it also got covered in dust.
Normally those signs apply to the side on which they are installed, not both sides. But there can still be another one on the other side a bit further down the road.
I think this is the defunct parking scheme. Afaik it does not apply any more.
You can ignore it and others like it. The sign is old and there is no residents‘ parking in Sliema.

Since there is an arrow, there should be another one to indicate where the zone starts. If it is still there I would be cautious parking there.
