      It feels like the goal was never justice, just containment. It’s just exhausting and frustrating.

      I can only imagine how frustrating and disillusioning it must be to raise alarms as law enforcement but see it get shut down by the upper levels.

      Why would a federal agency ask for stopping of a sec trafficking probe? What would be the gain? Who stands to benefit? I wonder ……

      I get that laws are increasingly not worth the paper they’re written on, but what authority do the feds have to halt New Mexico’s investigation? They have a right and duty to investigate crimes committed in the state.
