  1. These are not Persian empires. The Seleucid Empire was not Persian, nor were the Caliphates, the Mongol and Seljuk Empires. Also, Alexander the Great’s Empire is missing. Overall shitty map.

    All non-Iranian peoples who ruled states based in Iran went on to adopt Iranian political and cultural traditions.

    I mean, we’re having used to learn about countries by showing up late for world wars. Not sure I like this better, but being the lone regional power on our side of the pond for 200 years does that to a culture.
