Strange since the Saudis and other Arab states were publicly distancing themselves from the possibility of strikes, denying the US their airspace and bases.

Looks like Saudi wanted to publicly avoid culpability for the strikes and being seen as supporting Israel while quietly demanding them to take out their primary geopolitical foe.

Israel and Saudi Arabia were almost close to normalise their ties . When IMEC corridor was unveiled in KSA 10 September 2023 .

That’s when just in few weeks Hamas attacked Israel on 7th October 2023 and entire scenario was changed and narrative was shifted .

One of primary goal of that attack was to disrupt and derail the peace and development which would have brought Stability and prosperity for the entire region.

Iran and Turkey are primary countries who wanted to disrupt this new development and peace between arab gulf states and Israel .

Or maybe this might sound too simplistic, but perhaps Iran was the only diversion that could dissuade Trump from invading Greenland.
