      >Patnaik was being asked about [comments](https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/article/government-officials-downplay-allegations-india-is-actively-involved-in-foreign-interference-ahead-of-carney-visit/) made by Canadian government officials ahead of Prime Minister Mark Carney’s trip to India, suggesting India was no longer actively involved in foreign interference of transnational repression.

      >The comment marked a shift from a [recent CSIS report](https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/article/india-accused-of-being-main-perpetrator-of-foreign-interference-by-csis/) that declared India to be one of the “main perpetrators” of foreign interference and espionage. The RCMP and former prime minister Justin Trudeau linked the Indian government to the murder of Canadian Sikh activist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar in 2023.

      >“It’s not a question of ‘it is no longer happening.’ It never happened,” said Patnaik. “It’s a problem Canada has to resolve itself. We are there to help you.”

I don’t know how the press operates in India, but it just feels like Indian gov’t officials expect media to swallow whatever they say as fact even if the reality of the situation indicates something entirely the opposite.

The Canadian government said India is not longer a threat. Guess this seals it.

3 TFW students came and killed our Khalistan citizen. We must hold India accountable for flooding the country with TFW students.
