So the argument is that in 19 of 130 cases they looked at, the criminal convictions were over 20 years old, but 17 of those 19 involved serious crimes like homicide or sexual assault?

Social media is a major part of the decline of civilization. There is no redeeming value to it, and being able to hear someone else’s bad take ( like you might think of this post ), does nothing good for the psyche of the average human.

The problem is the borders were basically made as open gates during 2020-2024. The government made it comically easy to apply for asylum digitally before you even cross the border. Then instead of waiting for asylum application approval people would still enter illegally.
Is the imaging exaggerated? Yes, but it is not wrong. You are a criminal if you break the law. You do not deserve to live in the US just because you submitted a digital form where you lied that you qualify for asylum.
The u.s is crawling closer and closer to fascism. Do bad people exist? Yes, but saying all immigrants are dangerous criminals is wrong. Extreme Nationalism and over-reaching police are two strong indicators for a country slipping into fascism. I hope someone does something soon or 40 years from now people will read in history books about how America fell down a rabbit hole.
