My electrical company is in the early days of trying to get a campaign going. The company is decent, and has good guys but the bosses just don’t pay us enough. 15 – 20$ under union rate lol.
I used to be so pro-unionization that I considered trying to organize my old workplace. Then I got a union job that sapped up 6% of my paycheque with no benefits whatsoever. Minimum wage for something that should ostensibly pay well. No other benefits whatsoever other than those that help the sexual predators among us, which I never used. Maybe we don’t need more unions, maybe we just need better unions.
Carney is going to blow up the private union numbers like we haven’t seen in decades, thats the irony of people slamming him for being anti union ..
