Unfortunately this is going to work. The American media is not as free or as fair as we pretend and it certainly isn’t honest most of the time. It will be easy to justify this war because it’s against Iran and because of the bogey of ’self defence‘.
You can’t overthrow a totalitarian regime without a ground operation.
And given that Pakistan and Afghanistan are technically at war as of yesterday, the whole region could be engulfed in a war of Islamic extremism.
