What does this mean for companies who use Claude and have federal contracts ?
Anthropic is too useful not to succeed. I’m a guy who knows what’s possible, but I have to research everything and make mistake after mistake before getting something to work. Claude takes away all the research and wasted time. It’s the difference between walking uphill and driving a Ferrari.
ChatGPT never impressed me; I can search the Internet myself. I can write myself. Claude Code is the real deal. If you understand programming but are slow, like me, then you should absolutely subscribe to Claude Code.
Not bending to Trump’s pressure is just a bonus.

Trump, or in this case his ghost writer, Miller, simply does not understand what Anthropic does and how it’s used. Imagine a gun manufacturer developing a new type of machine gun that sometimes goes off by itself, or when it fires its spray pattern is wilder than a shotgun. So that gun company tells the government they shouldn’t use their guns in battle, and the company makes an agreement that the government won’t use them in battle just to cement how dangerous they are in this early development state. And then Trump runs in says this. Everyone connected to these companies is thinking the same thing, just another time Trump’s administration, lacking any expertise in basically anything, comes out and says stupid shit.
