Comments on here clearly shows that people don’t understand how desperate one can be when poor, famished, malnourished, etc. Or even when you have to watch your family suffer and die because of the previously mentioned issues. That people can be so desperate that any source of income can seem like a possibility to survive. Clearly, Reddit has a LOT of relatively comfortable westerners.

I feel bad for the people that died and their families back home.
