U.S. President Donald Trump discussed the possibility of a „friendly takeover“ of Cuba during a recent press conference, indicating that Secretary of State Marco Rubio is involved in high-level discussions with the Cuban government, which Trump described as being in „deep trouble.“ He claimed that Cuba lacks resources and is seeking assistance, although the Cuban government has denied engaging in any formal negotiations with the U.S. The conversation follows heightened tensions after an incident involving Cuban forces and exiles, alongside U.S. measures restricting oil shipments to the island. Trump noted the interest of the Cuban exile community in Miami, suggesting that a change in Cuba could be beneficial for those wanting to return.

Keep setting precedents until other countries in world starts doing the same…… I’m pointing at China
USA on one hand fighting on ukraine behalf and on other hand wanna annex greenland and cuba, let’s hope someone stops them before they do anything and set a bad precedent.

Why would you want Cuba? Sounds like a giant money pit.

Hmm, he and his associates seem to be doing a bunch of things at once:
> implementing a fascist government in the USA;
> trying to preserve capitalism even as it slowly crashes and burns on its own;
> ruining relationships with other countries and trying to make enemies out of as many of them as possible (such as Cuba from OP’s post);
> dismantling/stripping/looting as much of the resources and data of the federal government as he can get away with;
> hamstringing our military and intelligence agencies from doing anything not related to domestic surveillance and oppression;
> „encouraging“ a debt default by the federal government;
> setting as many different groups as possible against each other to encourage animosity, outright hatred, and ideally a civil war (his base would *love* to „relitigate“ that);
> generally mucking up the works in hard-to-recover-from ways, so that it takes as long as possible for the USA to recover, and is as painful as possible.
Chaos in the USA is one of his goals, but it’s most likely far from being his only goal.

What is it with this guy? He seems to want to take over the whole planet. First Canada, then Greenland, and now Cuba. Next up he’ll want to take over Timbuktu.

The word „friendly“ is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
