  1. Great news, having a good mix of ballistic,  ground based cruise and drines is a great way to exploit gaps in air defense.

With a good stock of air based cruise missiles and they can have even better flexibility

Is this the third or fourth domestic ballistic missile? Thinking Flamingo, the old converted Soviet drone missile, S300(?) conversions, now this? More targets on the menu none the less

The old USSR relied on the brains and brawn of Ukrainians for decades!!! The Ukrainians were responsible for developing most of the USSR’s weapons during this time!! It is totally believable that if Ukraine is given the time and materials, they can develop weapons that will outclass EVERY ruZZian weapon there is!! I hope that these new ballistic missiles fly straight and true and find their intended targets in ruZZia!!!!

    So my understanding:

    – FP-5 is big, heavy and slow; 1,150kg payload is brutal if it lands, but they’re easy to spot and intercept. 3,000km range makes it extremely dangerous, however, and I am assuming the degraded Russian air defences are largely concentrated behind the front, Moscow, etc.

    – FP-7 is smaller, but far faster; only 150kg payload, but at 5,400km/h, much harder to intercept. Range is smaller at only 200km, but still – that’s most of the russian occupied territory that can be directly hit.

Hopefully they can really ramp up production of these. Any idea on the cost of these versus the Flamingo?

Yikes, seems like a new deck of cards just arrived. Now let’s test these little babies above Belgorod and Rostov. FP9 then can be tested above Sochi

  7. Fun fact. A group of flamingos is called a “flamboyance”
