      Trump has claimed every election was rigged, even the elections he won. He also claimed the Republican primary that he lost to Ted Cruz was rigged. The „patriot“ party will happily let this country burn and never say a word. While some might be banking bigly, the payoff can’t be high enough for every single GOP politician to sell out their country so completely.

      So now we can see where Trump got the idea to accuse members of the Supreme Court of being influenced/controlled by foreign powers when he lost the tariff case. Foreign interference is to be the rationale for declaring an emergency and taking over elections, and accusing our Supreme Court of also being influenced or controlled by foreign entities sets the stage for ignoring their future findings regarding his election takeover plans.

      lol, if Trump and his goons think the feds will roll up to polling stations to take control of voting this will backfire because he’ll be trying to target certain „blue“ states or „blue“ areas where the GOP has a chance of losing seats in Congress.

      I actually think what they’ll do instead is use the shotgun approach to suing in any court that will accept the case. Mail-in ballots, early voting, postmarked ballots, voter register rolls, polling station times, etc.

      Top priority for a hypothetical democratic administration is making a law that states, that in the event Congress has not been destroyed by disaster, Congress must approve all ‘emergency’ declarations that are not natural disaster related.  If Trump has shown one thing it’s that waaaaay too many laws exist that allow a president to just declare ‘an emergency’ over nothing

      It sounds like this national emergency is not out the question..and SCOTUS already did their symbolic face saving ruling …so they are primed to sell out big time on the most important thing of all 🙁 This is the thing out of all the things that tops my number one worry.       I remember Saagar shutting down Michael Moore in 2020 when he had mentioned that Trump would steal ballot boxes in Pennsylvania. 

      It didn’t happen so I’ll take it with a grain of salt though internal ICE memos that were leaked on X regarding bursting into people’s homes even if you don’t have a warrant doesn’t inspire confidence in the system. It was spun by some right wingers as government implementing the law against suspected illegals not disregarding 4th amendment. 

      It could be true with that whole Fulton county raid by FBI to pick up the 2020 ballots. I am a history buff but I just can’t believe that I’m living in a moment where narcissists are willing to fracture America and cause a civil war.

      I saw a comic in the Baltimore Sun, that was democrats harassing Republicans about them being anti-democracy, while the democrats had signs like 60% support socialist policies, and X% support Mamdani…and I so wish I could slap the comic artist in the face for not getting that socialist policies, and having a muslim slightly left of center mayor aren’t “anti-democratic” infact they are very much ideals that support and are supported by democracy. Meanwhile they push voter suppression, redistricting, etc…I’m angry at the cartoonist for being so ignorant and angry at the paper for even running the bad faith political cartoon.
