Not sure how this is a surprise. Every country is out for their own interests in this war.
As a US citizen, I say: „Fuck the US raised concerns“. It is more important that Ukraine be allowed to destroy Russia’s war capabilities than to protect the little impact that the Russian originated oil has on our economy.
