This is totally normal behaviour for politicians on both sides of the floor. However, I will certainly not forget all the cheap antics the Conservatives were happy to lob over government travel the past ten years.
Let me guess, he’ll be speaking with AfD and Reform UK. Glad taxpayers are not footing the bill. Glad he’s leaving the Stornoway mansion for once. Maybe he’ll get some much needed perspective.

This isn’t shocking, I remember seeing some event announcement online at some British think tank about a keynote speech from Poilievre a couple weeks ago, and I found it odd, but now this makes sense.
Will be interesting to see who he meets with. Both Badenoch and Jenrick travelled to Canada in 2024 when Poilievre was a lock to be PM to learn from him, and now the situation is radically different.
Now Badenoch leads a dying party, which Jenrick has left entirely. Can’t meet both of them.
Sorry, how is this is his first international trip after four years as leader of the opposition? He didn’t see the need to do any fact-finding or make connections before now?
I hope PP doesn’t go and talk shit about Canada how Canada is broken and all the bs talking points that him and his supporters echo. It’d be a bad look.
