    How can it drop so much, they making bank now?
    Usually they start at 250k-300k plus bonuses. I don’t know how much they make after working 4-5 years or more, but how can they lose 400k,maybe the principals of the schools make a high salary but not the workers.

    How the hell is this going to help? I know more ex-childcare/kindergarten folks than I do current. People are running away from the profession here, and they think this move will make waiting lists better?

    Yes, this is a great move. Because who wouldn’t want bitter underpaid workers looking after their children in their formative years?

  4. It’s the pervert discount. They pay less because terrible people will still apply for the job regardless of the pay.

    Childcare workers and teachers should be paid more.
