The commander of the heavy strike UAV company from the (K-2 Brigade) 20th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade – of the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine – she was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd Class: by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The award ceremony took place the day before the anniversary of the Russian invasion, on February 13rs.

By decree of the President, the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd Class was awarded to the commander of the heavy strike UAV company of the K-2 brigade, Leyla Abdullayeva, callsign Saratsyn.

Leyla began her path as an operator of reconnaissance drones, and later transitioned to heavy strike bomber drones.

Since 2023, she has taken part in combat operations on the approaches to the city of Sivers’k – in the Donetsk Oblast.
