When you change your principles in order to appease the department of _war_ you know what you’re bringing to the world. This is a slippery slope. Anyone for a Butlarian Jihad?

    2. Cool, I’m so excited to be executed by AI and they’ll be no accountability whatsoever.

    3. I guess they didn’t want to be nationalized like how things were done in early to mid-20th century Germany.

Is this the same ai that was calling immediately for nukes in the tests they ran?

    5. This is why a company’s public values should never be used as an excuse for anything. They can change on a whim.

Sellouts. Don’t give them another dime. I cancelled my subscription today.

    7. >In a blog post Tuesday outlining its new policy, Anthropic said shortcomings in its two-year-old Responsible Scaling Policy could hinder its ability to compete in a rapidly growing AI market.

Lol. They couldn’t even make it two years before tearing up their vision and responsibility guardrails. What a joke. How much did they just spend last month on all those Super Bowl ads?

Speed racing to Skynet in the pursuit of profits.

We really are a dumb species.

    9. „As part of the new policy, Anthropic said it will separate its own safety plans from its recommendations for the AI industry.“

Do as I say, not as I do.

Anyone member when Google removed **Dont Be Evil** from their slogan and corpo offices?

      I member.

Now Google is embedded into spying on everyone. An AI company with no morals is on track to be waaay worse!

most likely his principals were just for the show and he never intended to stick to them. He created a technology knowing it will be miss-used, so by extension principals are not his thing.

They were put in an impossible situation. I understand why this happened.

They had $200M reasons to ditch their core promise. $$ talks. Don’t believe any corporation promises on security or privacy. They are convenient virtue signals until $$ is at stake.

War, war, war. 💀$💀 We’re going kill each for profit, yet again.

**Anthropic:** *“AI safety is our top priority.“*

**Pentagon:** We will give you less money.

**Anthropic, 75 milliseconds later:** *“Actually, FUCK Ai safety.“*

This is a bad thing… especially when partnered with a corrupt to the core regime

    17. Vote like your life depends on it because it does.

Seek out state and federal candidates who will undo literally everything this protofascist regime is enacting and stop this ridiculous AI nonsense where we let it consume us and suffer the consequences later.

    18. Americans like to scoff at state owned companies in China.

Then not realize it’s just the same here.
