Everything is going straight hell faster than before as I predicted a couple of months ago, this woman needs to go.

  2. This woman doesn’t sleep, is living 40 years in the past , is a hyper nationalist yet obsessed and fetishizes the USA ,is connected to a foreign power CULT while she surrounded herself with people mired in corruption scandals AND she clearly has some kind of mental instability going on.

    Yeah great. Faaaaaantastic.

  3. You get what you voted for
Those that stayed home have no right to complain
Enjoy your increased taxes and need medical costs.

  4. Is she suggesting taxing the super-rich? Because that’s where the money is. And Japan has plenty of quietly super-rich folks.

Ah yes, the slow gutting of the middle-class and young workers continues.

  6. So making the country safer by charging the population more for healthcare when they are already struggling to pay for everything else. Got it.

Effectively raising taxes. Honestly, it sucks, but it is necessary if Japan ever wants to do something about its debt. The reality is, however, that nothing needs to be done about the debt, just keep it pushing and make sure people have 3 meals a day and a roof over their heads.

Hmm…knew this was going to happen. Mind you I’m not Japanese nor speak Japanese and basing off the OP’s title (I really need to stop posting in this sub to scrub it from my for you page).

Seriously, what was anyone really expecting? They’re in a massive deficit and debt crisis, and she promised away a ton of money because of silly election promises. They need additional tax revenues and most likely this will be spread to the bottom percentile (poor people) in terms of actual impact that it’s an easy layup. That said, it’s probably the lowest potential of something going wrong but not ideal

  10. Increasing costs for young people and working families to prop up the wealthiest generation in Japan’s history. Sounds like politicians doing politics stuff to me.

Old people like old solutions because they remember being young as being good.
It will go much worse before it gets better.
