It’d be nice if Kash Patel was more focused instead of getting face down drunk maybe they would have found her
At this point I’d love to know if they have found any credible correspondence from the kidnappers and what has been done with it. Because if it’s been radio silence this isn’t a kidnapping and I have no idea why they would have taken her out of the home.
Definitely seems like it wasn’t a ransom thing and all that stuff was separate hoax shit. Now what the motive would be, I have no idea but scary as fuck. Possibly a botched ransom kidnapping so they never actually contacted the family? Hoping the mil reward gets someone talking
I feel like the kidnappers intent was to extort Guthrie for ransom, but they didn’t anticipate her mother being so fragile and didn’t take into consideration she needed medication daily to survive. I think she’s dead, and they are on the run and haven’t made contact because they don’t have leverage anymore. So sad, what a waste of a beautiful life.
I do wonder why the public reward came so late into the game. I feel like it’s already too late?
The Netflix movie about this isn’t going to be kind to the sheriff, I don’t think.
robbery gone wrong.
they get into the house, she wakes up and instead of calling for help goes out to confront them. OR she hears a noise and goes to see what it was, there’s a few horrible moments when they see each other, she gets knocked down. either gets knocked out or seriously injured, gets a wound form the fall which explains the blood by front door.
why did they take her? it just occurred to me that she fought back and/or just reacting she scratched one of them-and so there was dna under her nails. they took her, they either did her in or she simply died as a result of the fall. the ransom notes were to make it look like kidnapping when it was instead a robbery they totally messed up.
At this point it’s a lost cause. This case is probably headed towards a cold case sadly. She’s probably long dead by now
You can’t help but think that the loss of institutional knowledge with the purge of experienced agents who wouldn’t pledge blind loyalty to Trump, along with a wholly unqualified director who has zero law enforcement experience, let alone leadership, are the reasons that she’s still not found. Leads are thin, but this is the kind of case where previous directors would have absolutely been involved and throwing resources at the case until they reach an outcome, good or bad.
Considering she was taken without the medication she needed, I doubt she’s still alive. I think she was either accidentally killed outright and they took her body to stymie forensics, or they took her and didn’t know she needed the meds and she died and they were like “shit”.
In a robbery gone wrong, you don’t keep someone alive that long. I hope I’m wrong but it seems dire.
