Many of us read ‚The Boy Who Cried Wolf‘ and took in the lesson.

It’s not on Ukraine to disprove every lie Russia fabricates.

It’s on Russia to prove why we should believe *anything* Russia *ever* says.

Anything Russia says is a lie. They also said they wouldn’t invade Ukraine…

  3. And even if Ukraine decided to pursue NW, so what? Budapest memorandum has already been broken…

  4. Obviously Ukraine has no nuclear weapons. Who would fall for this besides Russian citizens?

Well. If we analyse these 4 last years, seems nuclear weapon is only option to keep your independence.

Idk why but in the last year it looks like nuclear weapon is needed even more.

It’d be odd to think that Ukraine is _not_ pursuing NW. They don’t need anyone’s help. That’s the absurd part.

You always have to remember Russia has a target for what it says.

This was for domestic consumption, with the right wing spaces now being inclusive of that as they’ve had their brains reconfigured for their propaganda.

That’s why when people say they’re always lying, don’t quite understand Russia. They say every type of thing from truth, to lie, to omission, to targeted, to generate emotion, for troll farm fodder.

You’re best not even engaging with anything they say as you’ll never parse it properly.

    Just watch the actions.

  8. In this case I don’t believe Ukraine. They would be stupid to not be trying to acquire them and they have domestic know how to create them

Russians think everybody else are like Russians. Just because they don’t give a shit about human life doesn’t mean normal people and countries are the same.

The Ukraine gave up their nukes for security guarantees from Russia, and look how that turned out.

This sounds like Moscow trotting out post-hoc justification for the invasion to undercut, what will likely be, the justification for the US invasion of Iran.

  12. Russian backers believed bio weapons, I can unfortunately see them buying this one as well.

The audacity. Budapest memorandum is a freaking joke. Just like the truth in Russia .Anyone with nuclear weapons should never let them go.

I think Ukraine don’t have them, but should to be honest. And Ukraine is probably capable enough to build them on their own if they need to.

  15. Without saying that Russia is true or false on their claim.

In what Universe would Ukraine ever answer „Of course,we wait the truck with the nukes next Wednesday!“

That would give Putin,Trump and everyone (including European „Allies“) a fine excuse to wipe out the countries capital or considering that Putin is a clever person either use tactical nukes to annihilate the Ukrainian forces and not Kiev since the city is sacred to the Russians or give him a reason to force his hand on a far worse deal for Ukraine,as for Europeans they would finally have a reason to do a Penguin tap dance and leave this clusterfuck alone.
