If they are serious, they should double the bid…it’s not like they can’t afford to.

  2. Ugh. HBO is like the one streaming service I still use. Will be cancelling if they buy it

So basically paramount would own everything but Netflix and Disney and Amazon.

I’m seriously about to sell my tv’s. Won’t need them much longer.

I doubt it. I really do believe WB and Discovery are running out the clock so they can take Netflix’s bid.

You don’t need these streaming services. Invest in gaming, read a book, or go talk to someone at the park. I went back to bootlegging media I want to watch. Most of the material on these stations is just junk food for your brain.

What is safe at this point? Disney? They pushed Home Alone 2 on me last Christmas so hard I stopped going there. YouTube? Tubi? Help!

What’s stopping every Reddit user from buying a share to take part in these votes?

This honestly seems like a lose-lose situation, but I at least am willing to believe that Paramount still cares more about movies and the theatrical than Netflix does. Having a Netflix exec make a remark about how his kid watched Laurence of Arabia on his phone just really doesn’t sit well with me.

Can’t wait for the reboot of Star Trek where it’s ALL in the mirror universe and they’re the heroes.

Why are they selling it to begin with? Why can’t people just be happy and make stuff?

  14. What are the chances this doesn’t go through until next year and Democrats can (hopefully) block it?
