It has been almost 8 decades since WW2 ended, several generations passed, and Japan is a completely different country with liberal values now. I think it is time for Japan to rearm and become a positive force of the world.
Authoritarianism and dictatorship are spreading left and right in this world and we need more powerful counter force to keep at least some parts of this world free.
