I knew the writing was on the wall for the CAQ when they said they were removing the crown from the Quebec coat of arms. All out of ideas, terribly unpopular and grasping at straws to maintain relevancy.

I’m not surprised that the CAQ is sinking.
On the other hand, when I see the PQ being in first place AND the PC behind in second place, there’s this little „pincement au coeur“ seeing that some Quebecers seem to think the only alternatives are a „repli sur soi-même“.

    3. So QS lost half their vote, and the CAQ lost half the vote. A rather interesting dichotomy for the two largest parties in the previous election.

It seems any talks of a CAQ resurgence were vastly overstated, though continuing to be called „Team Francois Legault“ is not helping their cause.

Conservative continue to put up impressive numbers, but it still doesn’t yield them any seats. I guess they’re about guaranteed to win the Beauce ridings in the next election, but I’ve never seen a party with such an inefficient vote. Duhaime is persistent though.

A decent enough showing for the QLP that they Milliard can probably win Orford, but they are still not in contention for government.
