      I read this story this morning:

      TL;DR was in the early 80s, a near decade long committed relationship with another man crumbled suddenly one evening when he learned the man never wasted an opportunity to cheat throughout the entire time.

      This being the early days of the AIDS epidemic, he became incredibly rattled and constantly got himself tested, and just never felt comfortable again.

      I’m so happy I lived in the time before AIDS and happy to have enjoyed carefree, sex without worrying about having to die for a short period of time. And yes, it did change everything afterwards getting tested wearing condoms or die.

      Gay guys in Tim’s demographic have seen some shit. All of their friends getting sick and dying. I didn’t read the reason why he’s been celibate but coming through the AIDS epidemic…
