      As much as I want it to be Trump it’s fairly obvious it’s not Trump.

      First of all, just listen to the actual audio. This is all subjective of course, but it doesn’t sound like Trump to me. It sounds like someone doing an over the top impression of Trump. It’s not a bad impression, but an impression.

      The nail in the coffin was this call occurred when Trump was attending a meeting, so it couldn’t possibly be him.

      If you listen to the audio, you’ll hear that it was someone doing a Trump impression. Good enough to be recognizable as Trump, but nowhere near good enough to be confused with him. Good joke, though.

      What matters most is that real or not no one even blinked when they read the headline because it fit so easily into the tapestry of lunacy that is his behavior.

      Calling Hakeem a dope was very onbrand but when he said Schumer couldn’t cook a cheeseburger, I knew it was someone doing a spot on impression. Trump hasn’t ever said that to my knowledge, nor has Trump ever actually cooked a cheeseburger.

      But again absolute spot on impression, even got the rambling without stopping part down perfectly. (The rambles where he has to suck in air because it was such an incoherent long-winded rant.)

      The person did a very good impression but sounded too coherent and energetic. Maybe 10 years ago it would have been less apparent.

      It sounds a lot like him and many people, smart people, people who are so smart you would not believe how smart they are, the very smartest, they are all saying it’s a beautiful call and Trump sounded great so believe what you want.

      He’s dumb but he’s not that dumb. I mean, he’s really really dumb. Astronomically stupid. Like if I had to choose a fresh bag of dog shit or him as my teammate for trivia night, I’d obviously go with the fresh bag of dog shit. But he isn’t so stupid that he’d call in and pretend to be someone else. Would he do that to an underage girl? Sure. He likes them. Like a lot. But would he call a major network? Well, yes, but he wouldn’t pretend to be someone else. Because, again, he’s not that stupid.
