Thing is, I’m in favour of retaliation but there must be better options than reciprocal tariffs that will just hurt our businesses more.
These tariffs expire in 5 months if Congress don’t approve them, right?
I’m guessing we will wait it out to see what happens before deciding how to respond.
The tariffs change, and yet Trump threatens countries to not back out of the deals agreed to get the old tariff rates.
We absolutely should not stick to the previous agreement if the US are changing the terms.
