      Trump has never been on Ukraine’s side. He envies and is enamored with dictators like Putin and Kim Jong Un.

      Trump is an ally of 💩Putin. Since 2025 he has been doing everything he can to help him in the war. Trump adores him. He admires this little autocrat, his authoritarianism, and dreams of taking his place but in an American style. He also expressed admiration for Xi Jinping more specifically for the level of control he has over his country. In the end, the only real allies of Ukraine are Europe.

      The reality is that he never should have been in a position to beg Trump to stay on his side. It’s just sad he has come to this instead of his neighbors and friends helping more. If the EU countries got together and put some troops in Ukraine away from the front lines then he wouldn’t need to beg Trump to stay.

      Trump has no idea what side he is on. Whatever will get him the most immediate gratification and praise. Whatever he thinks makes him look stronger and smarter. Trump is a narcissist and has dementia. He’s a psychopath and a moron.

      Narcissists like Trump divide people into two categories: people whose glory they want to bask in and people they gain pleasure from humiliating. Pleading only moves you further into the latter. Trump also does not care about anything beyond personal instant gratification, so higher values like democracy or justice, or even future notions like peace and stability cannot be appealed to.

      He’s been on a vindictive rage this entire admin. Zelensky was President when Trump was impeached over threatening to hold aide unless he investigated Biden. Trump will never look past this. Zelensky and Europe need to move on from Trump on this, and most things, very very unfortunately.

      Unfortunately, Trump doesn’t give a damn about Zelenskyy or Ukraine. The best Zelenskyy can do is ask other countries to act as barrier to prevent US from outright ending the war that will benefit Putin.

      He can’t, he’s completely and totally compromised and even if he wasn’t he’s a completely amoral creep who wouldn’t interest himself in this unless he could figure out a way to profit from it. You’re going to have to rely on your European brethren to help you I’m completely sorry to say. I know we used to be the good guys but we ourselves have been subverted by our greatest weakness….greed.

      Trump hasn’t been on Zelensky’s side since Z refused to be blackmailed in order to get congressionally-approved aid, for which Trump was impeached. The half of Trump’s brain that isn’t lusting after kids is holding on to grudges.
