      I really don’t understand how every single ambassador that Trump has appointed is so absolutely horrendous at diplomacy. Another ambassador, the one in France, got in trouble for their far-right social media posts. Apparently, the current U.S. ambassador to Canada is really terrible too.

      A joint statement from the foreign ministries of over a dozen Arab and Muslim nations, including U.S. allies Qatar and Saudi Arabia, expressed their “strong condemnation and profound concern” regarding Huckabee’s comments, affirming their “categorical rejection of such dangerous and inflammatory remarks.”

      “These statements directly contradict the vision put forward by U.S. President Donald J. Trump, as well as the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict,” the statement said.

      The League of Arab States, which includes all Arab states in the Middle East and North Africa, called his comments “extremist and lacking any sound basis” in a statement on X.

      Saudi Arabia’s foreign ministry described Huckabee’s comments as “extremist rhetoric” and called for the State Department to clarify its position on them, while Egypt described the comments as a “flagrant breach” of international law.

      Good. This motherfucker Huckabee and Trump need to go to hell. Also to the government of Israel: have some shame. You should not allow the US government to even try to push out a statement like this from a US ambassador. This is absolutely embarrassing

      Isn’t that the fundamental problem with the Middle East? 3 major religions and several minor ones originated there and many claim it as their rightful homeland. Judaism is significantly older than Christianity and Islam, does that mean they are the god sanctioned rightful heirs? The current occupants would also make a strong claim. Hence literally thousands of years of holy wars.

      I completely forgot Huckabee is the ambassador to Israel. I thought he was just a former politician and his comments were horrifying. The fact that a current official is saying this shit is insane.

      Also, as an ambassador, he’s supposed to support our interests in a country. How hard is he going to push Israel in any meeting if he believes they have the divine right to do whatever the fuck they want in the region.

      Trump moved our embassy, Huckabee’s offices, to Jerusalem for John Hagee and his “christian zionists”, for the soon to come End Times.

      The Bible materials being used in Texas and Oklahoma schools came from Huckabee’s organization.

      Hagee owns an oil company in Gaza, and there’s a huge oil and gas field off the coast, being developed by U.S. Chevron.

      So neither of them must think the End Times is really soon, both are quite nuts.
