I am half Swedish/Brazilian i have some family in Sao Paulo and Pomerode
I’m a Brazilian of Spanish, Portuguese and indigenous descent
what is the difference between the three maps? the legend is practically the same.
no way São Paulo the biggest italian colony dont have more italians…not even in the interior where here where lot italian immigrants ? lol
That’s so interesting. May I have the dataset?
It’s funny how in any analysis of ancestry in Brazil, Europeans are subdivided into their respective nationalities, but all indigenous peoples are lumped together because their history was erased
North European seems a bit too simple since most of those I assume are Germans and these mostly were from South Germany.
Ironically, the Italians were mostly from North Italy, so it’s like they circled a spot on a map and decided to send them all to Brazil.
I couldn’t see Japanese? Are they not enaugh crowded?
