      She had a valid visa but her husband didn’t so they held her too. This is so fucked up. Guilty by association. WTF

      So ICE shackled a 65-year-old British grandmother with a valid visa, held her for six weeks in prison conditions, and banned her for 10 years..all for “guilty by association” with her husband’s expired paperwork. This isn’t border security…it’s bureaucratic cruelty destroying innocent lives.

      I wonder if they think that if no one comes to the US whatsoever, there can be no birthright babies. Let’s make our country a nightmare to visit.

      Anyway, that might have been the one successful policy of the current administration.

      The US has a long road ahead trying to get tourism back after Trump is gone. It was already a bit shady with the phone scanning stuff and wanting your @ to different social media sites. Like what kind of country does that? Interesting to see what happens.

      Whether you’re an immigrant or visiting, just don’t. It’s not worth the risk.
