      The only thing that would be effective is if Europe bans Meta, X, etc.

      A bunch of redditors changing platforms won’t do much.

      My take is that this transition will be gradual and over time EU and nations who hope to get out of hegemony should invest on these foundations. In a few years from now, then the transition would happen as a natural course of action. Stuff like FB, Reddit, X etc would be easier to switch away from. Rest of the hardware pieces needs time and strategic planning.

      Doesn’t Ecosia use Bing’s search? How is using Ecosia not supporting the US microsoft?
