Dartmoor Prison was closed, a while ago, as a result of unsafe levels of radon gas being present…..
It doesn’t surprise me. There is a complete Wing at H.M.P. Rochester that cannot be used because of asbestos
Radon gas causes more than a 1,000 deaths each year in the UK, more than 20 times as many as Carbon Monoxide. It’s worth checking if you’re in an area effected.
