It still took 3 years though! Thankfully the process was recently reviewed and adjusted which means that more people have been able to qualify for PR. It’s just a shame that the process still takes a significant amount of time.
Instead, our immigration department is having to handle the millions of temporary foreign workers in low-skill job.
Abolish the temporary foreign worker program and refocus efforts on expediting the PR process for workers that are actually skilled and add value! Like this doctor
wait until you find something called comprehensive security screening which is expected to take 65 months if being sent now
BC has sped up the process dramatically. US doctors can now get their PR + licence in just 8 months or so.
