  1. The US ambassador in Jerusalem, Mike Huckabee, has said it would be “fine” if Israel took control of a vast swathe of the Middle East.

Huckabee was asked in an interview with US conservative commentator Tucker Carlson about his understanding of a biblical verse suggesting that land including parts of Egypt, Syria and Iraq had been divinely promised to the Jewish people.

Carlson said that according to the Old Testament, the boundaries would be “basically the entire Middle East.”

He continued: “Does Israel have the right to that land?”

“Not sure we’d go that far,” Huckabee said in reply. “It would be a big piece of land.”

Carlson then pressed him: “Does Israel have the right to that land?”

“It would be fine if they took it all,” Huckabee responded, before adding, “I don’t think that’s what we’re talking about here today.”

Carlson asked: “You think it would be fine if the state of Israel took over all of Jordan?”

“They’re not trying to take over Jordan. They’re not trying to take over Syria. They’re not trying to take over Iraq or anywhere else, but they do want to protect their people,” Huckabee responded.

“I think you’re missing something because they’re not asking to go back to take all of that, but they are asking to at least take the land that they now occupy, they now live in, they now own legitimately, and it is a safe haven for them,” Huckabee added.

How casual it sounds. It conveniently ignores how many thousands or millions of people would need to die for Israel to “take it all.”

  3. To be honest Tucker really grilled him… some of his answer were really disgusting

I thought he was Israeli at first…

  4. i am gonna be honest , i am against expansionist states,

but according to bassam yousuf arabs have the most right in Israel, so if Israel starts to conquer more land the rights of people there would increase.

  5. This is Israel’s ultimate goal. Have the US fight their wars for them, so that they can control the Red Sea and the Suez Canal. They want to control the trade routes

Peter Thiel and a concerning amount of American politicians are accelerationists beholden to Israel to usher forth the end of days. We are still in a holy war. This is factual and any bit of research will confirm.

If that doesn’t scare the fuck out of you then you are not paying attention

  7. Huckabee only cares about Jews in so far as they serve his apocalyptic fantasies. If he lived 150 years ago he’d happily partake in pogroms.

This last year has sure increased my immunity to “What the fuck did I just hear” sort of first reactions.

The arrogance of US government officials is incredible. I would argue they are no better than their Russian equivalents.

  10. I recently attended a funeral for my cousin who died of lung cancer leaving a wife and three young children, and the pastor decided to devote parts of his sermon to how despite the wonderful things my cousin did, it was only his belief in God that had prevented him from being in hell currently. He then went on to expound upon how sorry he feels for atheists, and how preposterous the idea of the Big Bang is, how Buddhists cannot go to heaven, and somehow looped around to reminding everyone that they will be raptured soon, because Jerusalem is under God’s control again. This was just about an hour south of what’s considered Northeast Ohio. This is the level of brainrot the church has infected their minds with.

Huckabee: “the land of Israel spans from the Nile to the Euphrates”

    Any Israeli: “what”
