      This is not good.

      The military gives these „last meals“ right before the soldiers are deployed to a war zone.

      So we’re going to war.

      Eh…. The military has come a long way since Afghanistan. At least in the Army. We had food like that on every holiday.

      Got this exact meal many times in the military. Usually a random Friday, a holiday, the end of a field op, before a field op, or just because.

      .. we actually got this from time to time and it wasn’t because we were going to war. Some admiral would buy a few hundred cases of lobster or some retired person who made a bundle after getting out would give the base 50,000 to buy us a bunch of good food for the galley or a shipment of steak that would have spoiled otherwise would get rerouted to the base. It isn’t always the end of the fuckin world.

      Good! If anyone deserves it, it’s our troops! Beats a grocery cart full of steak and lobster for a EBT person.

      Pie is daily at d facs. Steak is common but it’s not the best cuts of beef and crab legs and lobster are super rare

      I mean I think we’re definitely gonna invade but the ol “steak and lobster” myth is almost never true. 99% of the time you just get steak and lobster and nothing else happens lol.

      It’s to soften the blow when they tell them their pay is being reduced, and they now have to serve for 30 years before they can retire.

      There is this rumor we had in the marines, if you got this type of food it meant something was about to happen. But I had it several times and nothing ever happened. Don’t let them trick you and distract you. Keep your eyes open.

      When I was stationed at Malmstrom, we had steaks for breakfast and of course dinner.

      Went to Germany and the chow hall food was nasty!

      Good they are getting food like this. Unfortunately we don’t know what King Sleepy Dozy Don and his loyal subjects are up to.

      We have the largest Naval build up since WW2 in the Arabian Sea right now.

      Trump has already given Iran a 10 day ultimatum, borderline threatening boots on the ground without explicitly saying boots on the ground.

      Not that I trust the CFR or Institute on War, but both have been saying for the last week that war with Iran is imminent at this point.

      What really funny tho, Bibi and Trump don’t actually agree on this war.

      Trump has been trying so hard to give Iran an out while Israeli government and Bibi have been publicly disagreeing with Trump and saying things like „well if Trump and America won’t stand up for what’s right, we’ll still go to war“. Or some variation of that.

      I don’t like trump but I think even him or some of his advisors don’t think we should be getting into another fucking war.

      Tho I’m sure his other advisors that are in bed with the military industrial complex are foaming at the mouth to start another forever war in the middle east
