  1. Interesting how the Scotch-Irish predominantly settled in Appalachia…they just moved to the same hills across the ocean…

While correct, I don’t exactly think the Appalachians are depicted where they are supposed to be.

Why is Portugal inside the red lines but not coloured as belonging to the same mountain range despite being mountainous as well?

  4. Iceland, which have been glued to Scandinavia here, did not exist during this period.

This is the worst map I’ve ever seen. This shows less understanding of geology than a kids meal placemat.

Dont tell Trump, or he will claim morocco as rightful american clay next.

  7. That’s cool – if only you actually knew where the Appalachians were located though….

  8. This doesn’t show where the Appalachian mountains actually are, which makes it a bad map. It specifically shows the non-mountainous coastal area of the east coast. The entire highlighted area in North America is very close to sea level. None of this is right.

  9. You haven’t lived until you’ve done the Florida section of the Appalachian Trail. The views from that elevation are breathtaking.

    (Seriously what the fuck?)

  10. What in the AI bullshit is this? I’m not disputing the relationship between the mountain ranges, but this map is ridiculously inaccurate
