      Hitler famously hated archeological excavations in Germany. Every time Himmler became giddy about some mudhut being unearthed in Germany, Hitler would die of embarrassment.

      To be fair Corded Ware culture which was in Central Europe gave rise to most IE cultures.

      Only very few like Hittite, Armenian and possibly Tocharian are directly from Yamnaya

      Idk about the east and north side of the map but isn’t it true for the most part? Visigoths from Germany settled in France, spain, Italy, Bulgaria etc. English people are called Anglo-SAXON because of the people who went there from Germany and conquered the land.
