      Trump is losing. He is losing in the polls, he is losing his mind, and he is losing his control of the GOP. Because of all of that, Trump is lashing out without any self-control. He is getting more unstable every day.

      As a Canadian/European I am not really concerned about the ravings of brain-rotted #%@$s like Trump and RFK. What deeply concerns me is that after a year of these antics almost 40% of your country *still* supports these lunatics.

      If Trump was hit by lightning tomorrow it would change nothing, since nearly half of your voter base continually affirms that **this is the leader that they want**. I can’t imagine trusting America ever again, which saddens me because I used to love your country.

      I know nothing can really move the needle at all for the cult, but it is still astounding how large the disconnect is between how they perceive him and how he actually is. As well, just how much he has declined in only the past few months. Dude is slurring his words, constantly sounds out of breath, barely able to read his notes or stay on script. He’s kept aloft almost entirely by simply having been a competent performer at one point, but everything else is just lifeless mush.

      No one is being owned by this, is the point. He’s just this dumb fragile old man clinging to whatever he can. His staff is taking advantage of him. His family is taking advantage of him. He has no friends and everything scares and angers him.

      It’s pitiable except for how little he deserves pity.

      I guess other countries should interpret that logic however they want?

      The whole point of the tariffs was to get other world leaders to offer Trump bribes. Give him jets, and buy his crypto, and give his family members billions of dollars to ‚invest‘. Then he would „ease up on the tariffs“ if he felt like it.

      Today’s ruling is like taking the car keys away from Grandpa.

      So now Grandpa is raging, and buying MORE CARS.

      The man that refuses to reverse course, to apologize for anything, and he doesn’t even have the intelligence to take a political win he desperately wants.

The reason you can’t „charge ‚em a little fee“ is that taxation is only a power of Congress, Congress is supposed to hold the purse-strings of the Executive branch, and the people you’re charging aren’t the foreign countries but the people in this country who buy those imported goods.
