      Who knew that sending their men to war would reduce births? Russia currently has a force of about 700,000 soldiers, with 50,000-60,000 new troops deployed monthly. NATO reports 25,000 Russian soldier deaths a month.

      He was arrested after two subordinates complained about possible corruption. He’s been the head of the institute for like 2 years and had a project to increase birth rates and it failed. He must have bot bribed the right people.

       But he’s not being arrested because of Russia’s declining birth rate or because he produced information on it. Russia has been dropping its population for years because it turns out, people don’t want to bring kids into the world when they can’t afford them.
