      I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a performance as relaxed and yet so perfectly refined as hers. She looked so much more fluid and carefree than most figure skaters usually do, and yet every single move landed *perfectly*. She’s awesome.

      Her frenulum piercing is how I found out I’m basically an alien with my distinct triple frenulum under my top lip(and lack of one under my tongue). Turns out that isn’t normal

      Having been lightly keyed into the drama adound the sport, seems to me the judges just sent a loud, crystal clear notice to the world, that boring, soulless spin to win is not going to fly anymore. Your skaters better look like they want to be there, as opposed to a certain unnamed federation’s insistence on abusing their skaters

      I just read about her and she was conceived (as were her 4 siblings) with an anonymous donor egg and carried by a surrogate. That’s so interesting.
