Valid crashout from a patent troll. Either you pay by the truckloads of pennies or just deny their payout entirely.
Of course it’s HEVC. It’s the glitter of the licensing-hell world. Time for everyone to ditch it and adopt av1 and av2 going forward.

HEVC support should just die, anything with a patent in these kind of things should not be allowed, like HDMI that have royalties too.
