In the last week, we’ve seen two instances of how semi-functional countries handle serious shit.
Andrew Windsor should be held to account for his involvement, and the UK has (so far) met the moment.
… and South Korea just sentenced the leader of an attempted political coup to life in prison, which is a crime that could have gotten him the death penalty.
Meanwhile… Trump made an ass of himself (again) at his inaugural Legion of Doom meeting.
Well it’s more than shameful. It’s a full blown cover-up by Trump’s DOJ.
You know. How is it that a DOJ that says „nothing to see here“ gets a royal prince arrested, first to happen in 4 centuries.

The difference is that, for all its faults, the UK is still a democracy under the rule of law. The US is not, it is now a fascist state.
