Communist in name and future wishes, some of these weren’t barely communist. Communism has never actually existed except in name only.

    Afghanistan? Nicaragua ?

EDIT: my mistake, I see now that Afghanistan WAS correctly colored. I initially read this wrong and thought it wasn’t.

Map should be blank. Real communism has never been tried.

Edit: I am making fun of communists for always saying this. But looks like we already have real ones all over the thread. lol

It looks like the maps I remember from the 80s.

I later learned that most of East Europe didnt have real governments but dictatorships/policestates supported from USSR. One can ponder whether those countries where really communist or „merely“ occupied.

But it does look good on a map.

why is venezuela not there? our political subdivisions don’t even matter anymore, all that matters is the “communes” we’ve been put into. recently my mom tried to sell her home and was told “no” by the commune leader (different, and now more powerful, than the mayor of our city).

  6. It’s not even that true communism has never been achieved, it will never be achieved.

I find it odd that the people who seem to agree with the first part, almost never agree with the second.

Apart from China and Vietnam, all the countries are economic failures.

I was ensured by the Maple MAGA, convoy supporters that I was living in a communist state under Trudeau.

    Was I lied to?

Nicaragua should be on the list, no?

I wonder how things would be different if Cuba never went communist

Tankies would always cope with something like “none of these countries are true communists, read Das Kapital before you comment” when in reality they self-proclaimed themselves communist after consistently watching Hasanabi
