Unfortunately I’m guessing she is murdered. No way they’ll get away with it tho with the national attention.

  2. Ransom demands without proof of life aren’t going to get you anything. Sadly most likely she’s been dead since the first day.

This was never about a ransom. Its about sending a message to those who think they can tell the truth. Reporting the truth about whats in the Trump files will get you disappeared.

Everything I have learned about this woman and her family was by force…

Also it was an inside job, point blank, full stop.

  5. The Mexican authorities contact isn’t really news of any sorts. It’s basically “hola just want to make sure you saw this video!”.

Sometimes, there’s a reason for the silence and delays. I think there’s more to this story than just a routine kidnapping. The authorities will continue to do their due diligence, while investigating all possible case leads and scenarios…

At this point all I know about this unfortunate case is how it’s yet another example of Patel’s absolute incompetence on full display with a gutted FBI bungling operations over and over again.

I still don’t understand this. Why would someone kidnap a random news anchor’s mother. Like who even thinks of that. Never heard the name Samantha Guthrie in my life until this happened.

No way someone just randomly picks this person’s mom. The guy sticking his head in the Olive Garden fryer made much more sense to me than this

What if kidnapper abducted wrong person/house? What if neighbor guy owes cartel $$$ and it was his wife they meant to abduct and went to wrong home? I do not believe any of the ransom notes are connected to her disappearance. Opportunists, I suspect.

I’m in the UK but formerly had a very good impression of the FBI’s skills.

Literally every day is yet another headline about this case and it’s been like this the whole time she’s missing. To me that says they’re not keeping important info private.

If they’re handling a well publicised kidnapping like this, then what happens when there’s a crime on a much bigger scale?

I think trump/fbi is behind all of this. It’s an inside job. If trump can fake a bullet to the ear, they can fake this.

TMZ is so trashy about this, playing dramatic murder music during their discussion of her kidnapping.

It’s not Cartel, that’s for sure. Somebody fucked up and panicked. She has to be found!

  14. Shout out to TMZ for being the last news site doing investigative journalism

Occam’s razor is that she was taken for money and most likely died by accident due to health issues and lack of medication.

Yes there are a million things in between, but this is the most probable. I hope I’m wrong

  16. FBI fired all the competent people and is now just a group of political stooges for the regime.

Look, I think the family had something to do with, they probably have a long relationship with this sheriff and he is covering for them and impeding the investigation. The only logical reason the sheriff would have to not wanting the FBI involved is because he is afraid they will uncover what he has been up to behind the scene. Nobody came and kidnapped that 84 year old woman. Her family did something to her (maybe by accident) and are now making it seem like it was a ransom. They took her and buried her somewhere. I did not think so at first, but this is the only thing that makes sense at this point especially given the Sherrif’s shady behavior. A robbery doesn’t make sense because why would someone who is coming to rob a house, take it a step further and blow their cover by KIDNAPPING an old woman who can barely walk and who has obvious health challenges. This is why they cannot find anyone, because the sheriff is putting up smoke screens, false leads, etc.

Am I crazy or is it highly unlikely that this was ever an abduction? Who’s going to abduct an 84-year-old woman who relies on a pacemaker and medications in addition to having mobility issues? If this was an abduction for ransom, they would necessarily need her to remain alive. That would necessitate the supposed abductors figuring out a way to get her pacemaker to function again without being detected through the app that it runs on, having procured her medication and keeping her fed for the last 17 days. I’m sorry to say that I think that she’s been dead this whole time. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ultimately find her buried in her own backyard. But the idea that this was actually a kidnapping for ransom just seems farcical.

Sadly the family from the get go has been talking like they’re asking for a body back, and not pleading for her life, which leads me to think they’ve not been provided proof of life. I truly hope my thinking is wrong but I doubt her mother is still alive. My sympathies to that poor woman and her family.

Dafuq does Mexico government have to do with this???

Makes me worried that they’re using her death to blame “illegals” and use it as an excuse to attack Mexico….
