Good to see this, but tillage needs to pay or yield will be too small to supply the mills and imports will continue to dominate the market.

Another half-baked idea.
That’s a great idea. There will have to be government supports to allow the mills to be sustainable but an unusually good idea. Food security is vital. We all remember how hard it was to get flour during covid.
Mad that we don’t have a proper mill here, i only learned it last year . Think there’s a small one in cloughjordan milling local grains. But nothing on the grander scale.
