    I think these are the only types of residency stream we should have. For jobs in high demand.

  3. What about golden visas? Given the curent state of the US, I’d imagine that Canada would be well positioned to take advantage of all the rich foreigners looking to buy a passport.

    gotta capitalise on that brain drain. big players wanna leave and canada is an easy trip.

    consider the UK as well. we have some great old institutions, and some nice countryside.

    I feel like c-suite managers were never having a hard time getting over here regardless of whether they were ‚officially fast tracked‘.

    Opening up researcher lane is kind of messed up though, it’s already a really competitive field that many Canadians can’t get steady work in.

    They already don’t check anyone’s past history, criminal history of credentials. This will just expedite that even further… this is fantastic news for Canada’s industries and healthcare system.
