I still remember the news headlines in 2010-2011, almost weekly a new story about a freighter being hijacked. Friends I joked about the new age of piracy is among us and how long before the pirates would upgrade their „fleet“ of ships. 

Unfortunately for them. It was unorganized piracy, 3 or 4 guys in small little fishing boats most of the time. The moment an actual navy showed up and freighter ships started arming themselves it was over very quickly. 

And then Indian navy came into picture.

Before any racists comment “brrrr wrong they actually are in Minneamurderis”, keep in mind that 95% of ethnically Somalis in the state of Minnesota are actually US citizens, and most of them are even US-born citizens, meaning they are actually more American than Elon Musk or Melania. Not to mention the whole “fraud” is unsubstantiated and just became a trend because some random right wing YouTuber made a video harassing elementary school workers ON WINTER BREAK. And the fraud was already investigated back in 2019 and hundreds of arrest were made
