An anti Russian government Russian who apparently spoke with the Ukrainian athletes and said it’s a way to show their support for Ukraine and against their own government.
I don’t see this as a bad thing..
Don’t forget some Russians also joined the Ukrainian army voluntarily to fight against their government.
There is a very minor few that have a heart, I don’t see any reason for anyone to attack this woman.

On an unrelated point, why is it spelled with a „C“?

edit 2: Italian, apparently

I’m sure Russia paid the IOC handsomely for this to happen.

I think this actually makes it an even better gesture.

I remember russians spread the lies (there were a lot of different bs stories but this one is especially funny) in the occupied Eastern Ukraine regions about Ukrainians taking over the region back and capturing locals and russians as slaves, and the government of Ukraine promised each citizen two slaves. I guess we see one of the Olympians who brought their russian slave to carry the sign lol

This is missing quite a bit of context, though the IOC never deserves the benefit of the doubt.

I think it’s fitting. The image is of a Russian carrying around things for Ukrainians in a competition Russia was banned from competing in
